The Ethiopian Coffee and Tea Authority reported a record price of US$2,376 a kilogram, about ETB 380,000, for a Guji lot sold on the M-Cultivo auction. Coffee earned the country US$3 billion in the year to 7 July against US$2.65 billion the year before. The European deforestation regulation applies to large operators from 30 December, inside the current shipping season.
